Many have been speaking of that sparkle in your eye. In reflecting on your life, I am thinking about the lightness with which you approached even the most intense subjects. I am still learning from your wisdom. Thank you for all of the doors you opened for me, for seeing and believing in me from the time we first met when I was 20. he jungle as my teacher, my mentor was a gypsy in the jungle. strange, free, and had love for life. he spoke in metaphors. and i loved wandering and gleaning in the labyrinth of what he had to say. good bye dear fletcher. what you gave lives on.

A Visit From Fletcher: A few days after Fletcher passed, I was really missing him and grieving hard. I was sitting outside on my deck and noticed what I thought was a beautiful yellow leaf but was actually a rare imperial moth. Some legends say that moths can represent a loved one who is passed and is visiting you to let you know they're ok and to say goodbye. The moth and I sat together for a very long time. I felt Fletcher's presence saying goodbye to me and in his usual way, being a very safe space for me to cry. I love you Fletcher. I miss you terribly and every time i see a moth or a butterfly, I will think about you, my strong, magical, whimsical friend. Thank you for all the joy and support you brought me over the years.
